Chairman of the Special Initiative for Climate Change, Renewable Energy and Food Security in Sierra Leone, Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella has moderates high-level Session on Electrifying Cooking (e-Cooking) at the margins of COP28 in Dubai, UAE.
‘Electrifying Cooking: A just Journey Towards Net- Zero event, the Global e-Cooking Coalition was launched to mobilise finance and accelerate Electric Cooking use. The Coalition ensures the path to Global net-zero is based on electrification, with the goal of saving lives, improving livelihoods, empowering women and protecting the environment.
The Session was moderated and chaired by Hon. Yumkella and several world energy experts, heads of states and representatives were present.
Dr. Yumkella emphasised President Dr. Julius Maada Bio’s commitment to establish a Presidential delivering unit on clean cooking in his office.
