According to John V. Rogers, they are ensuring that early warning and responses can be effected for mitigating the atrocities caused by disasters. He said they have developed documents waiting approval for effective implementation in ensuring the menace is curbed.
He said they have been able to achieved public issues and also established an early warning system through which information flows from the local areas from the far end of the country into the central system for effective responses.
Rogers said they are determined to ensure lives and properties are protected from natural disasters.
