Over the death of Journalist Ibrahim Samura of New Age newspaper; Daramy & Williams Charged for Murder

It can be recalled that the 2 APC Party stalwarts were earlier on helping the police with investigations relating to an incident involving malicious damage that took place in Hamilton prior to the Constituency 110 Bye election.

Upon their first appearance in court yesterday, the charge against them was changed from Malicious Damage to Conspiracy and Murder.

Speaking to AYV newspaper last evening, Head of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) John Kenneth Alpha said, the Murder Charge was executed on the advice of the country’s Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Esmond Gakwie.

The two accused persons are currently being remanded at the Sierra Leone Correctional Center on Pademba road in Freetown until the next adjourned date, October 29, 2019. Keep reading AYV newspaper for more development on this.
