It is alleged that the first accused person stole one black Gateway laptop computer, one old fourteen inches Sony television, one Philips speaker, one battery charger, one JVC compact musical set, two extension cables, one HP charger and the sum of four million Leones all to the total value of fifty three million, three hundred thousand Leones, property of Pee Cee and Sons Trading Company.
Led in evidence by Assistant Superintendent of Police, Ibrahim S. Mansaray, the witness Henry Nannoh Koroma stated that he is Detective Police Constable 11463 attached to the Criminal Investigation Department headquarter at Pademba Road in Freetown.
The witness said he recognized both accused persons and also recalled the incident of 18 April 2018, adding that on the said date, he was on duty at the Criminal Investigation Department headquarter, when the case file relating to the said matter was allocated to him for further investigation.
According to him, statements were obtained from the witness and complainant, who is the Public Relations Officer of Pee Cee and Sons Trading Company at Sani Abacha Street in Freetown.
 He further testified that on 1st May, 2018 a team of detectives headed by one Inspector Francis attached to the Waterloo Police Station arrested and brought in the first accused person Francis Kemmer together with the stolen items, which were later handed over to the Exhibit Clerk for safe custody.
Detective Police Constable Henry Nannoh Koroma further informed the court that on 3 May, he obtained contemporaneous interview statements from both accused persons separately, by observing the judge’s rule; after which the accused persons validated their statements by signing it in their own hand-writing.
He also stated that on 30 May 2018, he finally preferred charges against the accused persons for Conspiracy, Larceny and Receiving, contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone.
The accused persons were represented by Lawyer E.T. Koroma and I.Y. Kanu. The matter is adjourned to 31st July this year.
