The increase in fuel price rumor according to Murray is ill-motivated propaganda which aims at distorting the issues in order to create avenue for unscrupulous people to hike the price of fuel and make exorbitant profit.
“We have communicated to the respective oil marketing company to advise its dealers and outlets to act responsibly and ensure that they sell fuel at the stipulated pump prices which have not changed.
He added that, they will be visiting fuel retail outlets using dippers to check the quality and quantity of fuel they have for sale to the general public.
