Police impersonator arrested at Aberdeen

A youngman impersonating to be a Police Inspector operating under the name of Inspector Julius Condoh, has been arrested and disrobed by police officers attached at the Aberdeen police station, west end of Freetown.

The man carrying the rank of an Inspector of Police was arrested whilst on patrol in the community and taken to the Congo Cross Police Division for questioning.

It was discovered that he was unable to comprehend and interpret directions given in Police code or perform salutations.

The leadership of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Usman S. Samura has directed that the matter be investigated by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to unravel the circumstances pertaining to his obtaining a Police regalia, as well as determining his motives.

The suspect is currently helping police investigations.
