His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio has made his first partial cabinet changes by sacking 9 of his Presidential Advisors.
A letter from State House dated 5th July, released yesterday, informed the Accountant General’s Office that the services of Dr. Kona Cecilia Koroma, Special Advisor to the President, Raymond De-Souza-George, Senior Presidential Advisor and Ambassador at-Large for Heritage & Culture, Amb. Dr. Umaru Bundu Wurie, Special Advisor to the President, John Oponjo Benjamin, Senior Advisor to the President, Dr. Patrick Kagbeni Muana, Senior Presidential Advisor & Head of Strategic Communications, Dr. John E. Tambi Chairman, Office of Presidential Infrastructure Initiative, Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) Mohamed M. Keita, Presidential Advisor on National Security and Augustine Boss-Falay, Presidential Advisor, have been terminated with immediate effect. It is unclear if some of them will be re-assigned to other positions of governance. See State House letter below:
