It can be recalled that romours of Melron being sacked from the position hit the social media some few weeks ago, romours he quickly denied, telling the world that he was not being sacked as Ombundmans but that he was on leave and was soon to resume work once his leave ends.
However, with more days ahead to end his leave, a State House press release issued yesterday officially relieved him of the position and appointed Madam Louis Anita Kawa as the country’s new Ombudsman. See press release below.
