The Emergency Sitting of Parliament summoned by President Julius Maada Bio will take place this morning, Monday 19th April 2021 at the New Brookfield Hotel on Jomo Kenyatta Road in Freetown.
This is according to the Clerk of Parliament Sitting of Parliament who earlier announced that the meet was to be held at the Bintumani Hotel in Aberdeen.
The Presidential Summoning of Parliament according to the Clerk, is provided for in Section 86 (1) of Act No. 6 of the 1991 Constitution of Sierra Leone.
Save for the change of venue to the New Brookfield Hotel, every other thing remains constant in previous announcement by the Office of the Clerk of Parliament.
