Speaking at his No. 63 Upper Brook Street office in Freetown over the weekend, the Managing Director KP Information and Security Services, Raymond Taylor said KPISS is established to help promote the information and security sectors of the country and to augment government efforts in creating employment opportunities for citizens especially young people.
He informed AYV that “patriotism is not only about lip service but about practicality.” He quoted and described American former President John F. Kennedy saying: “Do not ask what your country has done for you; ask what you can do for your country;” as his inspirational quote from which he draws strength to make sacrifices for the development of his country Sierra Leone.
He made reference to the United Nations (UN) 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), saying, “with quality information and efficient security services, the SDGs can be achieved in Sierra Leone even before the target date of 2030.”
He maintained that KPISS has trained and qualified personnel that are ready and capable of providing the required information and security services to achieve these lofty goals.
