Members of the security sector in the Northeast Region led by the Regional Police Commander, AIG Edward Aiah Samadia have held a Peace March in Makeni township.
The March, which comprises Police, Military, Correctional Service, Fire Force personnel and Drivers and Bike Riders Union started from the Mena Police Field to the major streets of Makeni.
The Peace March according to AIG Samadia is to foster the good working relationship between the security sector and the community. The exercise aimed to strengthen and consolidate the gains made and to reassure the people of their security and safety.
Citizens however Commended AIG Samadia and his personnel for their professionalism in policing the June 24, 2023 elections in the entire Northeast Region and providing the enabling environment for people to go about their normal businesses.
