‘’The evidence before me is sufficient and I therefore commit this matter to the High Court,’’ the no-nonsense Magistrate Komba Kamanda maintained.
The accused was charged of one count of sexual penetration contrary to Section 19 of the Sexual Offence Act of 2012.
The Prosecution, Inspector S. Conteh alleged that the accused on Wednesday 7TH May ,2014 at No.10 Kosonely Spur Loop in Freetown had a sexual intercourse with a girl child under the age of 18, to wit a 5 year old.
The accused pleaded not guilty of the charge against him and said he had no witness to prove that he is not guilty of the charges against him before the court.
Meanwhile, the accused has been remanded at the Maximum Security Prison at Pademba Road.
