Bassem Mohamed noted that, though there are some challenges, but that his company will continue to supply the market adequate and high quality fish products and it also on record that the company played commendable role during the outbreak of the world’s deadliest Ebola Virus in the country.
In the area of responding to its corporate social responsibility, Bassem Mohamed maintained that residents within the company operational area can attest to the fact that they have been engaged in positive communal development activities for the past four decades with an unblemished track record, unlike other fishing companies.
He said they have constructed mosque, community tap systems, promoting youth’s empowerment by providing financial assistance to various youth’s groups, scholarships to pupils and university students, donations to Muslims during the month of Ramadan and the extension of the company’s administrative buildings and to surmount growing challenges ahead.
