Sierra Leone police invite Pharm.Abdul Karim Turay for Questioning

In a shocking revelation, Pharm. Abdul Karim Turay, a prominent figure in Sierra Leone’s medical community, has come forward with harrowing details of his recent ordeal at the hands of authorities. Pharm. Turay’s story sheds light on the precarious state of human rights and political intimidation in the country.

During his detention, pharmacists. Turay was falsely accused of political affiliations and subjected to unjust treatment by law enforcement. He recounts how he was labeled a “political APC pharmacist” and targeted for his alleged ties to the opposition party. Despite his innocence, pharmacist. Turay faced intimidation tactics aimed at silencing his voice and stifling his activism.

His radio program, a platform for public sensitization, was abruptly suspended, and his clinic was raided under dubious circumstances.
