Minister of Information and Civic Education, Chernor Bah has said the Government of Sierra Leone has engaged top PR and lobbying institutions in the U.S to bolster Sierra Leone’s position as a U.N Security Council Member.
Contrary to rumors of financial transactions, Minister Bah said stated no money has exchanged hands but that the government is simply engaging in productive conversations with these institutions.
Mercury Public Affairs, a powerhouse public strategy firm based in New York has announced that they have been approached by the Sierra Leone government and are currently negotiating a comprehensive partnership.
This alliance is expected to encompass PR, government relations, and outreach to influential US officials and media outlets.
Sierra Leone’s government is leaving no stone unturned as it strives for global influence and recognition and it is expected that with this bold move, they are poised to make waves on the international stage.
