Sankoh disclosed that during the festival hockey clubs across the country will showcase the best of their talents in exhibition matches involving both male and female categories.
He said they have extended invitations to hockey federations across Africa and confirmed the presence of Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana and Morocco.
This festival, according to Sankoh is to introduce the sport to the Sierra Leonean populace and at the same time give the players the opportunity to play Hockey in front of spectators for the very first time.
In another development, the association has received some Hockey equipment worth over $1,500 from the German Hockey Federation. The items include 100 hockey sticks and 30 balls.
