So far, evidences say there have been little or no reports of major robbery incidences usually occurring and there has also been a very low record of assault and hooliganism.
This according to many came as a result of the leadership pattern of the newly assigned Local Unit Commander (LUC) of the Makeni Police Division.
Since he took up office, police personnel have been seen patrolling the streets of Makeni city thereby prevent crimes and assuring peace and calm.
The intensified security patrol and support from stakeholders have contributed to what has been widely described as “a gradual end to crime” in that part of the country.
