Tennis Expert praises Tennis Coaches in Training

Rotimi say as far as the participants are willing, he and his colleague, Noah from Ghana, are also willing to give out as much information as possible. “It is about building the capacity of upcoming trainers of the game to keep it alive and playable in Sierra Leone,” Rotimi stated.
He maintained that at the end of the course, they expect the participants to be able to replicate what they have learnt within the context of present-day modern coaching methodology.
He said the course is very significant for the coaches because it will help them to understand the game of tennis, especially the technical terms, physical skills and tennis education. He emphasized the significance of the physical training aspect of the training noting that tennis by itself is a physical sport.
At the end of the course, participants will undertake an assessment examination to determine their level of comprehension and to award certificates to deserving participants.
This certificate he said will give the exclusive right to determine whether they want to be coaches for their individual clubs, national team, or restart construction, etc
