The Fierce and Fearless First Lady!!! Fatima Bio’s Inspiring and Impactful Life of Influence and the Viral Dance Video with Salone Young Girls.
If you have watched the recent viral short video clip of the First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, the hearty and irrepressibleFatima Biodancing together with pupils, particularly young girls in the remotest of areas in the provinces, she was no doubt celebrating the power and promise of young girls in the region and by extension Sierra Leone.
With countless visits to schools in the northern region; happily captured in that video dancing to songs and high-spirited dance moves initiated by the girls in their uniforms, it may not be out of place to say this may be the first time those girls had the opportunity to meet a personality of such enduring personality, boundless clout, pristine beauty and a great sense of humility.
As seen in the video, the first lady radiated grace and great joy as she mingled, positively influenced, and impacted those young future leaders of tomorrow. What better way do you instill confidence, hope, and a deep sense of leadership in these girls who would in the future make Sierra Leone a better place?
It is instructive that we see the good in what our women do, without the usual political colouration. Not everything is politics! Fatima Bio’s “Hands Off Our Girls” Campaign, is one of such life-transforming, untainted initiatives; indeed worthy of admiration and commendation. Besides, she has shown over the years that she is indeed fierce and fearless across all facets of life., and as such, you can’t pigeonhole or confine her to her role play as the wife of the President. One thing is sure, when the name Fatima Bio is mentioned, her role play in the advancement of girls in the country is also cited in the same breath.
For die-hard naysayers who see no good, she may truly not be the first lady to play this role, but for a woman who has upheld the fight for women emancipation, this signals a significant difference in the approach, achievements, and visibility in an era dominated by men. If they don’t see any good in this, their warped and evil minds can’t see any good in anything!
With the all-evident resolve to be great in the fiery and determined eyes of those young girls, the sky is the starting point for these young and inspiring minds.
Thank you Madam First lady for shining the light on these girls, emancipating the girl child, and showing them by your exemplary life of grit, grace, humility; that with education, they can fulfill their boundless potential. That support has made a huge difference!
