Presidential Candidate for the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) Party, Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara has called on Sierra Leoneans to see today, June 24, as a day pivotal in the history of Sierra Leone and a day that holds the power, the choice and the chance to shape the future of the country.
Dr. Samura Kamara voted at the Malama Armature Football Association (MAFA) Field in Lumley, where he said: “Today, June 24, is pivotal in the history of our beloved nation. It is a day that holds the power, the choice and our chance to shape the future of Sierra Leone and to determine the path we take toward”.
He further suggested for the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (EC-SL) to hurriedly address concerns raised by voters.
Dr. Samura Kamara further appealed to the EC-SL to ensure that everyone person who is in the queues, complete their voting process before close of polls.
The APC Presidential Candidate’s key message to voters was anchored around the need for a positive political mindset among Sierra Leoneans, stating; “Today, we put politics before everything and I don’t think this is right. Politics is not just about power; it is about serving your people with the fear of God.
