Tombo & Sesay Suspended from National Team

The technical team of Leone Stars has slammed an indefinite suspension on Musa Noah Kamara and Baimba Sesay over what they described as professional misconduct. The two home-based strikers are currently with the national team preparing for this month’s Cameroon 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Lesotho in Freetown. According to sources at the Football Association secretariat in Kingtom, the two players will likely miss next week Wednesday’s clash against Lesotho in Freetown. For Musa Noah Kamara fondly known as Musa Tombo, he failed to travel with the home-based national team to Kono over the weekend, telling the technical team he was bereaved. However, it was later noticed that he went ahead to play in a community league at the Brima Attouga Mini- Stadium for the Kissy Community FC. On the other hand, East End Tigers forward Baimba Sesay breached player’s transfer regulations by signing for two clubs – FC Kallon and FC Johansen. However, head coach Sellas Tetteh and his backroom staff have no option that to allow few more foreign-based professionals to be part of the line-up for the match ahead.
