The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Resident Representative to Sierra Leone, Pa Lamin Beyai, has bid staff at the UNDP and Sierra Leone farewell as his tenure in the country comes to an end.
He was appreciated by staff and well-wishers who organised a send-off session in honour of his dedicated service to promoting sustainable development in Sierra Leone and was presented with a citation.
Pa Lamin Beyai has been very instrumental and personage about total development, innovation and human security at all levels within the country and has been in service for the past two years.
Speaking during the appreciation ceremony, the outgoing UN Resident Representative, Beyai, thanked the staff for their unwavering support and commitment to delivering UNDP’s shared goals in the country.
He further urged them to embrace growth within the UNDP, adding that they should always strive to reach the higher height and achieve greater goals as well as never stop being ambitious.
He urged them to continue to work harder and to serve humanity to the best of their ability.
