Following the return of Victor Foh to the country, he summoned journalists in the conference room of the Office of the Vice President to update them on issues transpired in Lebanon and Turkey.
According to journalists who witnessed the ceremony, they were disappointed with the utterances of the Vice President. A journalist who begged anonymity, the Vice President, Dr. Victor Bockarie Foh bored them with the explanation of how pleasant his trip to Lebanon was. The journalist pointed out that the Vice President explained how he was treated, hotel he lodged, foods he ate, people he met, who drove him around and places he visited among other things.

This the journalists who were present described as ‘wasteful spending’. The journalists revealed, the money spent on the trip (whether or not the it came from the coffers of Sierra Leone) should have been diverted to something productive and beneficial to the people of Sierra Leone.
