In his usual flamboyance, Vice President Foh then urged his audience to embrace President Koroma and his Administration, positing that it is only the governing APC Party that can bring development to Kenema.
V.P. Foh then went on to appeal to MOV, to work closely with his people, not forgetting his obligations as a politician, especially to the less privileged. “The APC is a grassroots party”, declares the VP. So we as members of the APC must reflect the ‘grassroot ideology’ by being accessible.
The vote of thanks was delivered by the newly appointed Deputy Minister, Momoh O. Vandy. He started off by thanking God for his grace and President Koroma for the opportunity accorded him to serve. He stated that VP. Foh has always been like a father to him. He therefore thanked him for his fatherly advice, which he said had brought him this far. He pledged to uphold the ideals of the APC and prayed for God’s divine direction in his new assignment.
The program was chaired by the Resident Minister East, Karamoh Kabba.
The Hon. VP was accompanied by his Special Adviser; Dr. Jengo Stevens, Minister of Finance and his Minister of State; Momodu Kargbo and Patrick Conteh respectively, the Governor of the Central Bank; Dr. Kaifala Marrah, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs; Rtd. Major Sengu Koroma, the APC National Organising Secretary and veteran politicians.
