According to news making the rounds the President is sick and could not make the trip. The trip to Lebanon came in the wake of investigation for an allege agreement between the government of Sierra Leone and Lebanon over the dumping of toxic waste in Sierra Leone.
Many Sierra Leoneans are speculating that the trip to Lebanon is not disconnected to the issues of the proposed disposal of waste in Sierra Leone.

The fear in the heart of Sierra Leoneans is that the Vice President, Dr. Victor Bockarie Foh could be in Lebanon for the signing of the agreement for the waste to be dumped in Sierra Leone.
