According to Cole the development involves collaboration with the central government and development partners as well as building consensus with people in a view to enable them deliver on their mandate.
“My administration will continue to bend over backward in its relentless drive to improve lives in lot of areas” Cole said; adding that as council they are on a mission for development.
Mr. Cole disclosed that revenue mobilization drive is one of the areas they developed, citing that his administration has established a revenue department with offices opened at Koya, Mountain, York and Goderich which has enhanced the robust revenue generation drive of the council.
Mr. Cole maintained that in the significant area of infrastructure, his administration has initiated and or completed some meaningful infrastructural project; he noted that they have fenced the Tombo playing field and provision of assistance towards fencing of the Bassa Town playing field as part of their infrastructure drive.
“We only received 20% of the 2018 budget “Cole said; adding that their staffs are been paid from the revenue mobilization drive and his administration has introduced a system in which council’s workers are paid through bank rather than physical payment.
