The Board Chair of WGPD, Mr Ngaliwa stated that training is a key component in any organisation that is desire to grow.   He added, “This training has rein-enforced our skills and motivated us to do more towards human rights activism”. In a relaxed but confident mood, Madam Baindu Briama, Deputy Director, WGPD mentioned that they are using all available means and methods to empower girls (right holders) and  community authorities and parents (duty bearers) with knowledge and understanding in relation to Gender Based Violence and the gamut of human rights instruments.

Expressing her legitimate view relating to the training Francess Kougbaka, Counselling Volunteer WGPD, bravely mentioned: “I will not only use the  knowledge acquired in the training workshop during advocacy and campaign sessions but will equally use them in my academic pursuit. Frances described the training session as informative and educative.

In his view, the Chief Trainer Patrick Jibao Massquoi said, the participants were not only motivated but also equally willing to learn and had passion to advocate for girls and women. Mr Massaquoi revealed that there are several trainings meant to appreciably capacitate members and beneficiaries of Wi Gail Pekin Dem.
