According to the accused, the deceased left the house on 7th August, 2018 without informing her and upon her return home she decided to give her some strokes on the feet with a cane as a warning for absconding from the home to take to the street with notifying the caretakers. She disclosed that on Wednesday morning, the deceased started complaining of headache which virtually led to her demised
Investigation proves that Adama Mustapha is married to Mustpha Koroma the brother of the deceased father Mustapha Koroma and mother Finda Koroma. To her demise, Fatty was recently promoted to class four at the Badrudeen Islamic Primary School in Kenema.
The body of Fatty was taken to the Government Hospital in Kenema for post-mortem. According to the result of the post-mortem done by Dr. James L.B Massallay a Lab Scientist and Directorate of Bio Chemistry Lab in Kenema, the death certificate states that Fatty died of Neurogenic shock due to the fracture cerebellum of the skull, Cervical spinal injury 3rd and 4th cervical vertebrae fractured.
Police handed over the remains to the family for burial while Adama still remains in police detention helping with the investigations.
