Works Minister Visits Ex-UN Building Project

Mr. Konteh admonished the Contractor to put special attention to this exercise as the former U.N building is in a critical location of the city, adding that they need to abide to all the lay down rules of demolition within the agreement signed with Government and the Ministry.

He also commended them as Local Contractor to undertake such a risky job and encouraged them to use all their expertise in carrying out this task.

Deputy Minister Philip Tettema Tordoneh established that they need to deposit all other components like elevators, iron rods and all steel materials to the government store for safe keeping.

The Engineer on site of the Lincoln construction company Momri Gbondo Saquee promised that the company is working hard after this phase of the job to at least spend nine working days to demolish a floor emphasizing that they are having over fifty workers four compressors together with proper machinery including electric cutters to do the job.

The Engineers raised series of advises ranging from protection, safety measures and says they will be constantly paying weekly visit to the site until the work is completed.
