Minister of Youth Affairs, Mohamed Orman Bangura has hosted all ten Members of Parliament from Tonkolili district, the Paramount Chief Member of Parliament, the Chairman for the Tonkolili District Council and presidential appointees from the district.
After the meeting, the minister wrote on his social media handle saying: “My district people thanked and appreciated President Julius Maada Bio for reappointing me as a cabinet minister from the district.
“The discussions we had about working together for the development of Tonkolili and the idea of forming a development association for the district were truly inspiring. It is heartening to witness a collective commitment to the progress and prosperity of our beloved district, transcending political affiliations and party colors.
“I firmly believe that development should always be a shared goal, uniting us all in our efforts to uplift our communities and improve the lives of our fellow citizens. I am excited about the potential of this collaboration and the positive impact it can have on Tonkolili.
“Once again, I express my sincere gratitude to all the esteemed members of parliament, the Paramount Chief MP, and the Chairman for the Tonkolili district council for their visit and their unwavering support. Together, we can achieve great things for our district, and I am truly humbled to be a part of this journey”.
